About

Kati Bannister is an abstract artists based in Roswell, Georgia. She layers confident brushwork, soft veils of color, and gestural marks to create paintings that feel both timeless and contemporary. Her work is designed to transform a room - adding light, energy, and an emotional center to your home.
A lifelong creative, Kati rediscovered her love for painting after her youngest child started full day school. She draws inspiration form the rhythm of her everyday life in the South, sunrise walks after getting the kids on the school bus, fluorescent pink azaleas blooming around her front porch, and quick getaways to the Blue Ridge Mountains or the coast (the house is divided on this one, Kati prefers Florida's pristine Gulf Coast while her husband likes South Carolina and Georgia barrier islands). Each piece balances structure and spontaneity, reflecting her belief that art should be as joyful and lived-in as the spaces we inhabit.
Kati's paintings have been collected by homeowners, interior designers, and design lovers who seek artwork with personality, movement, and warmth. When she's not in the studio, you'll find her chauffeuring her three daughters to soccer, dance, basketball, and Girl Scouts, hunting for vintage treasures in Atlanta's secondhand stores and estate sales, tending to her garden, or tackling a home project that is way more difficult than she initially thought.
Through her work, Kati invites you to live with art that feels fresh, luminous, and personal.
